From the moment I met Rochelle, it was apparent that she doesn’t just recite corporate talking points on diversity, equity and inclusion, but has a truly deep understanding of what each dimension means and the connection to people and worplace. Getting to know her background, I quickly realised how much that understanding has come from growing up during the apartheid era in South Africa and her family’s rich tapestry of cultures. This background, coupled with two decades of working & travelling globally have enabled her to develop her heightened understanding. Rochelle is an authentic and powerful leader with great insights, real empathy and experience in addressing some of the more complex DE&I issues in the corporate world.
